Course Details

This course is based on a simple idea: when your body feels safer, healing is easier. And once healed, growth and change come naturally.

  1. You’ll begin with Guided Shifting to raise your body's baseline safety. Once you reach Phase 2, you can start Sound Bubbling Sessions.

  2. Sound Bubbling leverages your newfound safety for deep healing, dissolving suffering, anxiety, and resistance at the root.

  3. Growth Sessions help you access intuition and courage from this healed state, moving you towards meaningful action.

You will move between these different types of sessions based on what you need most.

Guided Shifting Sessions

Deep, meditation-like sessions that shift your body’s baseline level of safety that it lives from 24/7, giving you greater access to the sense of peace and more capacity for deep healing.

Sound Bubbling Sessions

Powerful sessions that release and heal repressed trauma stored in the body.

Growth Sessions

Sessions that give you deeper access to intuition and courageous actions that improve all aspects of your life.

Guided Shifting Sessions Take You Through Six Phases of Transformation

  • Phase 1: Peace

Sense of peace emerges. Mental chatter and self-doubt reduces. Emotions settle into a neutral or positive baseline with less reactivity. Reduced sense of separation.

  • Phase 2: Vision

Colors, textures and visual details become more vivid. Reduced sense of visual separation.

  • Phase 3: Time

Past, present and future feel less separate from one another, as though they’re all made up of the present moment.

  • Phase 4: Reality

Reality itself feels more dream-like, as though what’s being directly experienced right now is the entire universe.

  • Phase 5: Paradox

Reality and embodiment fully return in ways that feel paradoxical (e.g. feeling deeply okay while feeling difficult bodily sensations).

  • Phase 6: Integration

Sense of peace is persistent and permeates all aspects of experience. Simultaneous access to multiple layers of peace, including pervasive emptiness and fullness.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Each Guided Shifting session is 60-90m long and feels similar to a guided meditation.

Each session has at least one break if you need to go to the restroom or if you feel like ending the session early, which is always perfectly okay. I recommend budgeting some time after each session to relax and soak in the way you’re feeling.

You can experience your sessions whenever you’d like, as long as you are in a quiet, comfortable, distraction-free space where you will not be interrupted during the session. If you’re feeling particularly sleepy before a session, you’ll probably want to reschedule for another time.

You will have the videos playing in front of you, ideally on a computer or tablet, but a phone is okay, too. All you need to do is follow the instructions.

The sessions are gentle and simple: no meditation experience required, and no psychedelics are involved.

  • There are six phases in the complete shifting journey, and each phase is about 2-5 sessions total. The same, core method takes you through most of the phases, so you’ll see some session videos repeated here and there.

Your speed and commitment through these phases can be whatever you’d like: for example, you can try a session or two in Phase 1 and choose to be done. You can do a session every day, 1-3 sessions a week, or you can space them out far apart by weeks or months. I recommend taking at least two or three days to let your system integrate after your first session, but after that if you feel comfortable doing sessions more frequently, you’re welcome to do so.

You can complete all six phases, or stop somewhere along the way. You can also reverse a shift if you don’t like the way life feels after a session.

If you are struggling with the method or are confused about any parts of the process, then I encourage you to experience the Extra Support Shifting Session, which breaks down the method in more detail and helps you get unstuck.

It’s normal to feel extremely relaxed and peaceful, even high, after a shifting session, and typically that high will fade within a couple hours. Even once that high has faded, your mind and nervous system are still in its place along the progression: you haven’t lost progress. And when you pause to look for it, you’ll notice that the sense of peace is getting easier and easier to access anytime.

The general rhythm is to experience a shifting session and then observe what changes start to automatically occur across all aspects of your life. You don’t need to do any additional practices to sustain where you’re at. You shift your baseline, and then you live from that new baseline.

  • Initially, your Sound Bubbling sessions will be 30-60m. Over time, you’ll develop enough comfort and familiarity with being able to use a gentle version of this method anytime, anywhere.

In Sound Bubbling sessions, you use a specific sound-based technique to activate profound somatic releases and heal those underlying wounds with deep love and support. It’s a special way to give your body complete permission to authentically express itself.

Unlike Guided Shifting sessions, which are quiet and still, Sound Bubbling sessions are often big and loud. They feel like you’ve gotten in a fantastic workout.

  • Let me show you.

Exercise 1: Start by bringing to mind a moment in your life when everything felt perfect. A moment of total bliss. Close your eyes and take a few moments to enjoy reconnecting with that memory, soaking it in.

You know what peace is, what it feels like, even if you can barely touch it in this memory, even if you haven’t felt that way in a long time. It’s familiar, but frustratingly distant or fleeting.

Now let that memory fully go and return to this present moment. To the space around you, to your body.

    Now we’ll try something different…

Exercise 2: Right now, see if you can feel a sense of peace directly in your awareness? Try it with the eyes open and eyes closed. See if you can directly feel it without reaching for stories about yourself, reasons to feel peaceful, or memories.

Can you do it? Most people can’t, so don’t worry if this is hard! Perhaps your mind is hyperactive and won’t get out of the way. Perhaps there is some tension or anxiety in the body that’s overwhelming you. Maybe you’re annoyed by the fact that you don’t know exactly what to look for in this experiment, or the fact that glimpses of deep peace have been so fleeting in your life? If any of this resonates with you, then don’t worry: you’re in good company, and things are about to change.

And if you can access a felt sense of peace now, how stable is it? How much of your awareness is permeated by that sense of peace? Does it come and go? Is it shallow or deep?

Guided Shifting rewires your mind and nervous system so the felt sense of peace is always easily accessible. Anytime, anywhere. Your first shifting sessions unlock the ability to access a felt sense of peace anytime you pause and look for it. With every additional session, it gets easier and easier to access peace.

By the end of Phase 6, all aspects of your awareness will be permeated by the felt sense of peace. Furthermore, you will have access to multiple forms of peace at any time: a felt sense of lively fullness, and a felt sense of spacious vastness. It’s pretty awesome.

  • Guided Shifting offers three powerful benefits for emotional resilience and trauma healing:

    1. Some trauma, emotional triggers and reactivity patterns will simply dissolve after your guided shifting sessions. You’ll be surprised they vanished without any effort.

    2. Deeper trauma will finally feel safe enough to start to spontaneously move through your system to be released. This might look like the body trembling, changes in bodily temperature, or deep emotional releases: all are very healthy methods for the body to heal itself.

    3. For the deepest, core trauma that remains, Guided Shifting makes it significantly easier to start the healing process in therapeutic settings. The depth of healing available to you in future therapeutic sessions will be similar to being on psychedelics.

  • If you are not psychologically stable and are unable to receive support at this time, then do not start Guided Shifting right now. Please seek out professional support and stabilize before pursuing Guided Shifting.

If you are not interested in healing your trauma or engaging in inward-facing practices, then Guided Shifting is probably not right for you. Similar to how trauma can spontaneously arise and release from the body when you feel significantly safer during a psychedelic-assisted therapy session, Guided Shifting can make your body feel safe enough to express and release repressed trauma.
